 Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran is expected to face a firing squad in a few days . Australia has made an effort to halt the execution. Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott on Wednesday ( 04/04 ) said he was " disgusted " imagine both will be put to death . Both were sentenced to death in 2005 after being arrested while trying to smuggle heroin from Bali to Australia . Indonesia adheres to one of the harshest counternarcotics law in the world . Joko Widodo President has declared zero tolerance against narcotics traffickers. Chan and Sukumaran leave Kerobokan prison in Bali after being transferred to Nusakambangan where the execution will take place . Chan brothers Michael and mother Sukumaran Raji , who regularly visits both , seemed to speak with the warden of the prison after the convoy left. Australian media said they were not allowed to see the two inmates . Speaking to ABC News on Wednesday , Abbott said millions of Australians feel " sick to their stomach to think about what might happen to the two men . " He admitted they had " committed a serious crime , " but added , " We reject the death penalty , which we think of as a low act that will not be a country like Indonesia . " Chan and Sukumaran accompanied by two other members of the Bali Nine , a 45 -year -old Nigerian man and a 30-year -old woman from Spain who also face execution
